Job Purpose
As a System and Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of various systems within our organisation. You will be responsible for managing and developing the systems, coordinating system testing activities, identifying issues, motoring risks and security controls and ensuring that all systems meet the required standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with writing system specifications for new features and processes and managing projects with external providers.
- Plan, execute, and oversee system testing activities using test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure system reliability.
- Work as a point of contact internally to log, track, and prioritise defects, working with external providers to find quick resolutions.
- Ensure that systems meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and user expectations through rigorous testing and control processes.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation including PIAs, DPIAs, policies, procedures, risk assessments and test scripts.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance processes, methodologies, and tools to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders clearly and concisely with monthly reports.
- Assist with managing operational resilience processes to ensure the correct documents and procedures are in place, and controls are adhered to.
- Manage partnerships with external providers.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in system testing, quality assurance, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in project management.
Desired
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
- Understanding of MySQL.

Days/Hours
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
There will be occasional overnight stays and travel required outside these times
